About Me
Hello there! My name is Chris Lawver and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. I first started learning to code on my own in 2020. I've always had an interest in the tech industry and I've found that I really enjoy learning new languages and writing code.
I'm currently attending school at We Can Code It to become a full stack software/web developer. I'll be graduating in April 2021. I have experience in C#, HTML/CSS, Javascript, and SQL, as well as version control using Git Bash and GitHub.
My Projects
FizzBuzz
A solo project, console application written in C#. A practice game that displays different
messages to the user based on the number that is typed in. Uses conditional statements and
mathematical operators.
Pizza Shop
A solo project, console application written in C#. You can order a pizza, customizing it however
you
want, and it will determine a price depending on what was selected. Uses conditional statements
and loops as well as classes.
Virtual Pet
A group project, console application written in C#. You can create virtual pets, giving them a
name
and
species. And then interact with them in various ways. Uses conditional statements, loops, and
lists as well as multiple classes implementing inheritance. Also implements Test Driven
Development(TDD), with tests using XUnit.
